Travel, freight & safety.
Is freight support available?+
Tell us your freight needs when you apply. Shipment arrangements and any support will be confirmed with selected teams; do not book freight on the assumption that it is covered.
What about visas?+
International teams are responsible for checking entry requirements for Israel. Selected teams can request event documentation to support their own visa applications.
What insurance do teams need?+
Teams should plan for appropriate liability, equipment and travel insurance. The final safety and insurance requirements will be communicated before participation is confirmed.
How is security handled in Israel?+
We will share current venue access and safety procedures with accepted teams before travel. Follow official travel advice for your country when planning your visit.
What if the event is postponed?+
Registered teams will receive a direct update from the organizing committee if dates change, including revised technical and participation timelines. Do not make non-refundable plans before confirmation.

Quick answers.
Do we need a humanoid?+
No. Any platform is welcome, including wheeled mobile manipulators, arm plus AMR set-ups, and third-party robots you made smarter. Research teams do not need to be the robot's manufacturer.
Do we have to be a robotics company to apply?+
No. Robotics companies are welcome, and so are makers, students, independent builders and research labs. Form a group, bring your own hardware or a third-party robot, and apply as one team. Need teammates? Post on the Team-up board.
How many teams can apply?+
There is no overall limit on applications. Each arena takes up to 12 teams into its semi-final.
Is there an entry fee?+
No. Entry is free for competing teams.
